Best Western near Lackland AFB/SeaWorld

Came for business and needed to be in the area... I have to say I was impressed with the property. Front desk was nice and informative..Hats off to housekeeping and maintenance for the upkeep of the hotel!! Typically, when I travel, I do feel the need to clean the room before I actually take in my luggage and for the first time ever, I did not feel the need to do so. Y'all have a great housekeeping and maintenance team here!!

Stay is always welcomed and cozy breakfast is good to they this the only hotel I know that clean rooms Daily

It was overall a good stay. They had a decent small breakfast and the staff was helpful. The beds fwere very comfy. The only thing that really bugged was an odd smell in the the room. It was a musty smell that I think was coming from the carpet. If they changed the carpet to tile floors it would probably take care of the smell. If it wasn't for the smell it would probably have 4 stars.

So I drove to the next location over from this one. Beautiful building, looked brand new. I was like...awww, this is nice. Nope wrong location. Upon driving to the correct location which was like driving through The Wasteland from Mad Max, I found myself wishing I could go back to the wrong location. My location looked like it belongs in Miami on the set of Scarface. I have mold on my bathroom ceiling and upon turning the shower know off it vibrates like something is about to burst. 1st day I came back to my room to find my bed made, very nice. I didnt know its daily service. However it smelt like weed in my room?? Not strong but I smelt it in my room, not outside of my room. My towels, sheets & pillow cases feel and smell of crispy bleach. The mattress has a spring fall into the middle

It was your typical budge motel and you get what you pay for. Beware that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on outside with so much clarity the door may as well be open. Wifi was horrible and one of the electrical sockets randomly stopped working after one use. The shower curtain doesn't even block the water so prepare throw all of your towels on the floor to prevent it from flooding. The one pro is that the service was pretty good and it served its purpose
