Best Western Montrose Inn

Positive: Very clean and surprisingly quiet given its location right off the highway. Negative: If you blink you'll miss the entrance to the parking lot, otherwise it's great.

Room is right next to major road, I can hear every car that drives by even with the TV on and the bathroom fan on. When I asked to switch I was told that I couldn’t even though there were other rooms available, something to do with the night auditor. Fine, then when I try to settle in and turn on a light, they’re all disgusting super bright white light bulbs. Super harsh and feels like a cheap dentist office. Room is clean and looks ok, but I can’t get past all the traffic noise. I hate it here.

What a great hotel with an excellent front desk person! I made a mistake on my reservation date and she helped me correct it and got me in! I was also recognized for my elite status and offered water and a snack. My king room is on the second floor and is so clean, I have a sofa, table and shower with bath products. In room coffee, microwave and fridge. Bed is comfortable and has pillows. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a clean and comfortable room!

Good hotel at a decent price. We wanted a place close to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and this place fit the bill. My biggest complaint is the pool. Front desk staff told us the pool was heated to 86 degrees, but it was like a polar plunge. We could not swim in it. There is no hot tub. Breakfast was good.

The furnishings and beds were really nice and the rooms were clean, but the hallway desperately needed vacuumed. I wouldn't have marked it down for that but when I opened my covers to get into bed, there was a brown stain on my sheets. This is a housekeeping issue because there's no way the house keeper didnt see this as they were making the bed, but they consciously chose not to grab a different sheet. I would stay here again, but I just cant give it 5 stars
