Best Western Inn of Vancouver

"Be very careful" with this place. The staff has zero training. I currently have charges for two rooms I never used. This is a complaint, and the only thing is, if you're looking for a place, it should be to be comfortable and peaceful... "This is not a place that meets those expectations. Keep looking..."

Let’s focus on the positive first. Staff were wonderful. Welcoming, engaging, helpful. Cleaning and breakfast staff were the same.||Unfortunately, there were too many negatives that were disappointing, given how many great experiences we’ve had with best Western’s across multiple states. The walls of this motel were so thin, that we could hear our neighbor talking and singing, which kept us awake at 1 to 3 am. The heater was so noisy that I had to turn it off, which meant being cold the rest of the night. Breakfast was remarkably poor, not what I’ve come to know and expect of this motel chain. This was a dog, friendly motel and our dog was welcome, but there was so much poop that wasn’t picked up by owners or staff that it was just plain yucky.

As a Best Western Rewards Diamond Level member I made a reservation through the Best Western Rewards website for 5 nights. We made the reservation the night before arrival we arrived early (2pm) the next day and were told that there was a fee for early check in. The place was neat,clean and empty and the desk staff were sitting with nothing to do. As diamond members we are often given early check in privileges. I checked asked the manager was told no. I called the rewards department and they said the location made the decision they called the manager and she refused. I was frustrated but feel that I remained polite she was not. I finally told her that I didn’t feel like I could give her hotel a good review and she told me that I was threatening her and eventually told me that the conversat

Positive: Clean, quiet, tucked away from the freeway and main road. Was near restaurants and gas. We'd had a long day and were beyond exhausted when we arrived. Negative: I require accessible rooms. The bed was too tall and both chairs rolled away -- sitting was awkward. The bed was on a metal platform - both of us stubbed toes on it in the dark. The heater fan never shut off. No easy to reach place for a cane by the bed

Wow. Had a room booked through hotels.com got there and they wanted to charge me way more. Got ahold of manager fees were hidden somewhere still yet to find. Manager got mad because I proved it was not on there and hung up. I got upset and raised the phone and the guy kicked me off property. There was only 1 other vehicle there maybe that's why.. would not recommend
