Customer Reviews
Probably the nicest hotel in Lone Pine. Good internet connectivity and fast enough to do a Zoom meeting. Bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed. The only issue we had was we were upgraded to a King suite. That was wonderful...but...the bathtub was a jacuzzi type tub with a shower over top. Very old...I wouldn't want to bathe in the tub. Difficult to get into the shower for this older female with a bad knee. I was able to make it work, but if you have mobility issues you might want to ask about what type of tub is in the room!||Very quiet and the views are remarkable.
I’ve already stayed twice at BW Frontier Motel and have an upcoming reservation, so I guess you can tell I really enjoyed my stays at the hotel. Hospitality team members are very sweet and welcoming, whether it’s during my late night arrival / check in, or morning breakfast / check out. The rooms are very practical, solid, and have all amenities I need (king comfy bed, fridge, microwave, fast Wi-Fi). I also find the rooms pretty spacious and clean. Free breakfast is a huge convenience! I get up, get coffee and a bite on-site, and I’m ready to hit the road for the day’s adventure, and there’s plenty of that! Death Valley, Alabama Hills, Lake Crowley. When I’m back at the hotel after a busy day out, I have a hot shower and comfy bed and sleep! Perfect vacation.🤩
The location is great. We used it as a stop on our long drive to Yosemite. The model is simple and the room a bit updated. But it was really really clean which we appreciated.
I have stayed here so many times during my 395 roadtrips and it is without a doubt the best hotel in and around Lone Pine. Clean, spacious rooms. You walk out to a beautiful view of the Eastern Sierras. Service is always friendly. And if you've got water bottles/coolers, there's a solid ice machine to fill up at. I can't wait to stay here again.
I truly can't wait to return to this motel, which was perfect for our brief stay in town: The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a massive flat screen and all the typical amenities that make for a convenient stay - hair dryer, iron, microwave oven, mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. The bed was firm and relaxing, with ample bedding and an extra blanket in the room. The included breakfast would easily run $40 for two elsewhere, with scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, fresh pancakes, bread, muffins, and numerous spreads, cold cereal options, juice, milk and other beverages served buffet style starting at 6 am. One minor caveat: Ask for a room away from the busy highway, or bring earplugs!
