Best Western Elkhart Inn & Suites

Room was clean & fine but had a continued smell of marijuana smoke, especially around the elevator doors...we were across the door from the elevator and seemed like we got more than our share. Especially frustrating given this was a no-smoking facility. The folks at the desk said they were limited what they could do, only being able to charge the offender a smoking charge at check out. Also, the laundry room & lobby restroom could have been cleaner. Will add that the front desk folks were very friendly and courteous.

Positive: Cute town Negative: Hotel is very close to the several big roads and is very noisy all night. I got zero sleep after driving 12 hours. People in the parking lot talking and playing loud music all throughout the night.The food was terrible and very exp.

Loved it, very peaceful. Comfortable beds, amazing shampoo and conditioner. The shower feels amazing. The pool isn’t too cold. The room is nice and quiet throughout the night

This was the most unwelcome I have ever felt at a hotel, and we spend many nights at hotels due to travel sports. Before arrival, I called to change the dates of our stay due to illness affecting our ability to leave home at the scheduled time, and they would not change the dates of our stay when I was not canceling, just changing the check-in day. They took my phone number for a manager to call me back about our situation, and I never received a phone call in return. The hallways had an unpleasant smell. Was greeted as soon as we walked in, and staff were very helpful. The room was clean but had noticeable cosmetic damage that needs repaired. The pillows felt like they had no stuffing which lead to difficulty sleeping and my neck being sore in the morning. Since it is winter I thought the pool area would be somewhat warm but it was on the cold side and couldn't handle being in longer than 30 minutes. The location itself is off the highway but jammed in between other hotels and behind a gas station. If you're looking for a hotel in the area with a little view this isn't it. Otherwise for the price it isn't too bad.
