Best Western Adena Inn

I made a reservation for 2 rooms on the ground floor and for 5 adults and for 4 day's in March 30, 2025. And we had a family member funeral to go to in Chillicothe Ohio and both rooms were very clean and the staff is very courteous, and you get a complimentary Breakfast.. and the price wasn't bad . I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The first room we were in was truly disgusting - the whole thing smelled like a public restroom, and the bathroom specifically smelled like sewer and mildew. It also didn't look like it had been cleaned very well. However, staff was extremely apologetic and moved us to a much nicer room on our second night that we didn't have any problems with and was more appropriate for the price we paid. It also sounded like some of the staff had raised the same complaints about that exact room before but hadn't been taken seriously, so who knows if our complaints will fix anything. I do really appreciate staff making things right, but am still disappointed that quality and basic cleanliness was such a gamble when this was the most expensive hotel on our entire trip.

Room we we're in had a musky smell,bed was comfortable, clean as it could be maybe needs some updates, breakfast was pretty good had some hot and cold options, location was good close to shopping and restaurants.

Positive: My experience was great at this hotel. It is tucked away off a busy street in Chillicothe. Central to a lot of places. We stayed for the location and the pool - which was a lot of fun! I would stay here again. Negative: ""
