Belle Parc RV Resort

This is a beautiful RV park. Well maintained. We picked this park because of the location of our reserved site. Close to the pool and overlooking the lake. We called twice after reserving to check the location of our reservation. Upon arrival we were placed in a site located across the lake, with a "view of the lake" and not close to the pool. To be clear this site is not lakeside. There is a mud pit between the site and lake. My husband and I both tried to communicate our frustration in hopes to some how rectify the situation or understand. We achieved neither. In looking at the reviews, we see this is a common problem many have experienced with no satisfactory outcome. It is a great disappointment, when many of us travel several days, only to find We have been mislead.

This RV park is very expensive at $94 a night with GS discount, and annoying. I got three calls once making my reservation: to try and move me to another site (I needed a pull-through), to lay down the rules, and to double check my reservation and lay down the rules again. When I arrived from a harrowing 175 mi. 6 hr. drive from South Florida, a woman came out and told me I had to disconnect my tow vehicle. I said no, that’s why I reserved a pull through. She said “oh.” I followed her in whereupon her supervisor emerged and blessed her out for not filling out her timesheet. I was then handed a portfolio of additional rules and “resources”, and escorted by an attendant through a rabbit warren of streets to the site which was plain and close. Poor Management! Stopped going 5 yrs ago and do not miss it at all. Started reading the reviews to see if things have changed......it has not! So many other desirable RV Resorts to stay at.

I gave the rooms 5 stars when really it is the sites I am referring to. Most sites have a lot of green space between them. The ones that don’t have a lot of space are lucky enough to keep you cool in the heat as they have many large trees to give you shade. The pond is smaller but nice to relax by watching and listening to the fountain in the middle of the pond. Yes there are gators, but they are kept under control. When they are too big, they are removed. Park is kept so clean! All the staff whether they work outside or in the office are always friendly and help you if needed. Winters here you are kept busy with the activities thy offer. Love it here and am so glad we found it!
