Bear Hugs Cabin

WE STAYED IN THE COZY CUB CABIN NOT BEAR HUGS PROS-PRIVATE, CLEAN, WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. Close to Hocking Hills and Nelsonville. CONS-You have to drive down a STEEP hill to get to it . We had a hard time getting a hold of the host to get our door code.. it took her 35 minutes to respond after we got there. The hot tub has TOO MUCH bleach in it.. it stank with the lid closed!. We did not use it due to the smell. We had to go buy our own toilet paper! The roll in the cabin was empty and no extra. The coffee pot did not work/broken. Only DVD for TV and the DVD collection is very small.. had we known this in advance we would have brought our own. It's hard to find.! The sign is tiny near the ground and not really clear. Our check in was at 3pm. We started co

Absolutely loved this cabin. It's decorated beautifully and everything we needed for the evening was here. Awesome fireplace inside, nice kitchen, comfortable bed, and a deck with the hot tub and a grill with a nice view. Only issue is that the hot tub needs to be serviced. The heater isn't able to keep the water temperature up without the cover and it steadily drops while we we sitting in it. Otherwise this was amazing and deserves 5 stars because it's truly a great getaway. Bring your own entertainment. No cable TV but there is a DVD player. No Wi-Fi. It's a cabin and being unplugged was the point.

This was a cozy, quiet, and beautiful get away!! It was very clean and taken care of, the view off the porch was nice! I proposed to my girlfriend at the time after a nice steak dinner cooked on the grill😁

Absolutely loved it.
