Bear creek Inn

The only good thing was the staff seemed friendly enough and accommodating. Didn't check the room before gathering all of our bags and hauling it up to third floor. As soon as we walked into the room, we were met with and infestation of roaches. They were literally everywhere. All over the walls, crawling across the bed, in the bedside table drawers. There was a "clump" of them under the bottom of the headboard. My boyfriend and I ended up sleeping in the truck all night because we were afraid to even sit down or set our stuff down anywhere. The staircases are also pretty much condemned or falling apart. One is completely taped off from being able to use. Unless they upgrade TREMENDOUSLY, I wouldn't stay here again. And I mean tremendously.

At first glance, when we opened the door it looked like an average but cheap motel. Even the management said "what did you expect for $69?" Yes, he was very rude. The blanket had an odor but the sheets were clean, The floor felt very dirty, and the laminate had blistering around the slats. Worst of all was the badly stained upholstered chair. There was a black vinyl sofa that I decided against sitting on. The shower had poor water flow but he towels were clean and folded in a cute fan pattern .... not enough to boost this review. We would have left but it was the only vacancy we could find within 8 or 10 miles. Even the paint was flaking off on all of the walls. I wanted to rent another hotel just to take a shower and wash everything upon leaving as I still felt dirty when we left a

Its ok the staff were nice and they dont rush to.put you out i can say its not the best place to stay but if you are just looking for a night to travel throu Houston it would be more like an emergency stsy but i can say i slept like a baby the beds are very soft

I advise anyone NOT TO STAY at this this place! I was treated like an animal by the wife of the owner! I paid for one night, I simply wanted a coffee and the wife of the owner made a big deal about it! I’m from Europe , I’m used to good hospitality, not be treated this way! There are many more motels along high way 6 in Houston and I advise anyone not to stay at this place! The husband of this rude woman is a great person but the wife is a pathetic rude miserable person! I personally won’t be staying at this place anymore and I advise future customers to choose else to stay, not the bear creek in! My next email and phone call will be to the better business Bureau to make a formal complain for bad treatment toward my self as a paying customer.

I stayed here for a couple of weeks recently. The hotel is undergoing some renovations, but I found the rooms adequate, clean and quiet. Everything I needed. The people are friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again. I give it five stars not because it is the ultimate resort hotel, but because it delivers all the basics for a modest rate. Very good value and recommended.
