Beachfront Hotel Houghton Lake

I would give 10 stars if I could. From the minute we walked in, Stephanie at the front desk was more than sweet and helpful, Sara had to call 911 in the morning for my husband...he's ok now...she kept a cool head which helped me as well. Hunter the manager, so nice, is on top of everything. What a dream team. Also one of the cleanest motels I've ever stayed in! Can't wait to go back!

Hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean with quality furnishings and spotless bath. Would recommend.

Fantastic place to stay! The staff was exceptional, rooms were very clean. I didn't use the pool or hot tub area, as I had a room with a jetted tub. Never ending supply of hot water, and a decent Continental breakfast. The hotel was not full, and it seemed like every other room was occupied so they didn't cram all the guests together, we were spaced out nicely. Highly recommend

The location of the motel is perfect if you’re going to the lake and everyone was very nice. Room was clean. But the bed was hard as a rock, tv kept going in and out and the heat in the room only worked when it wanted to so that was a bit of a down fall for the stay.. Also the breakfast was very small so I’d plan accordingly waffles, 3 cereal selections and a nut muffin just a heads up! Not sure if we’d stay there again or not…
