Beach Plum Motor Lodge

We were discovering Cape Cod and found this great Lodge. You feel like time did not stop and you were in the 70's or even before, the cottage and the whole place is of that era, but very confortable and clean! Actually one of the best beds I have ever slept in! The best experience of our stay was Gloria, the owner! She is a great host, makes you feel at home and prepares a good breakfast that is served at her house, just in front of the cottages. She shares her Italian and Californian stories and gives you tips for the Cape. It was a perfect choice!

We just returned from our stay in Eastham at the Beach Plum Motor Lodge. We will definitely be returning! This was our first time in Cape Cod and Gloria was a delightful hostess. She asked what we liked to do, where we would want to go, what kind of restaurants we liked. She made fantastic recommendations! Over breakfast we discussed what we did last night, what our plans were for the day. She asked if we have been on a whale watch (no, we had never been, really wanted to go and were having trouble deciding which tour to take) she recommended a place, then kindly made reservations for us! Beach Plum has been our perfect summer getaway and home away from home for the past 15 years. Gloria is the “Hostess with the Mostest” and she makes this quaint and cozy place even more special. Beach Plum Motor lodge is located in an excellent location in the Cape Cod area. Close to superb beaches and close to nice villages. ||We have stayed in rooms 1&2. These are ideal for a family, they have a connecting bathroom. We loved the place. It's almost like someone placed you in an old movie. Not comparable to any modern hotel. Here you get a special flair, personal touch and love to details you do not find very often. We felt immediately very welcome. ||Beds are comfortable, rooms are very clean. the pools was good for a relaxing break and breakfast was home made and very tasty. ||The bathroom is rather small and there is no air condition (but a fan). ||Gloria is a lovely host and very open person, she makes you feel home the moment you arrive. Had the best stay here! Excellent location, adorable private rooms with private bathrooms! And delicious homemade breakfast each morning! The owner is incredibly caring and takes such great care of the property. Everything is clean and well kept. And the owner makes you feel like family! We will be sure to stay here again, if not for the delicious food, comfortable rooms, delightful pool, but the big hugs from Gloria! Highly, highly recommend Beach Plum!
