Baymont Inn and Suites by Wyndham

Amanda at the front desk was friendly, and extremely helpful when the room I was assigned turned out not to be clean. She found another room for me and even went with me to the new room to insure that it was clean. The two star rating is due to the condition of the hotel. But Amanda gets five stars for her efforts to create a five star experience in a two star hotel.

Baymont - State Line (Texarkana) Overall, I had a good night rest. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi barely had a signal. When you first walk into the lobby it looks inviting and somewhat updated. The night and morning staff at front desk were pleasant. Although, I didn’t get a chance to grab breakfast, it does look like they offer a large dining room, to accommodate guests. When I was checking out early morning, it wasn’t breakfast yet, but I asked, “Do you have any morning coffee I could get To-Go?” “Yes, I can get a batch started in few minutes,” she replied. The room was average nothing really special. It looked outdated. My shower didn’t have any hot water. Carpet looked older too. It’s not a bad hotel to stay if you’re passing through but just know, rooms are visibly outdated.

My fiancé is a truck driver and Wyndham Rewards member. He uses his app everywhere he goes. He had booked his room here while in route but when he arrived there had been a mix-up and there were no rooms available. They have been remodeling the hotel and some rooms aren't open yet. The actual owner and Amanda at the desk stepped up and really went above and beyond. They offered to feed him from the breakfast room while they put together one of the newly finished rooms so they could fulfill his booking! He decided to walk next door to eat at Denny's and came back to a completely brand new room! Most places would've told him there was an issue and they had no rooms left but they didn't. It's very clean, a good location with Denny's, and a Waffle House right beside it and a RaceTrac fuel stop

it was okay except light came through window all night. They demanded 100 deposit and assured me it would be credited back on check out. I checked out early this morning and no refund and nobody answers at site . Hopper reservations refers me to hotel . I’m at work i do t have time or patience avoid this place

Turned the towels in and was told was I returned to the hotel that I couldn’t get new ones because I still had the old ones. They was sat outside the door before I left so I could have clean towels when I returned.
