Positive: Quiet Negative: Lock was broken on the bathroom door. Corners of the bathroom were dirty. Couldn't find us a room, switched 4 times.

Go to Econologe!!! Trust your reputable trip advisor with this one. What would you think if you seen a price on Google for the room and the guy tries to charge an extra 30 percent. If it's the color of my skin which is the only reason I can see the issue that is not right. I expect an explanation on why I was treated differently here vs all the 100s of hotel I have stayed at. I travel a LOT. Guy told me $80 plus tax and fees.

I’m usually not one to leave reviews but this is unacceptable. I understand we’re in Michigan and we have mayflies but they die within 24 hours and who knows if this room was even cleaned between then. I appreciate the housekeeper being kind, but this is completely unacceptable to let a guest into.

Absolute terrible experience got to the hotel and they charged me an extra hundred dollars that they did not tell me about. I had to go to a business dinner and so I was unable to check on the room until four or five hours later||When I did, I could barely enter the room without a horrible cloud of smoke, hitting me in the face, and taking my breath away. There was a bug on my traveling companion’s bed and a dirty crunchy towel stuffed up underneath her mattress||Stains everywhere||When brought to their attention, they even suggested that I was the culprit and sternly told me to gather my things And sarcastically asked “ I suppose you’re going to want to check out now” At which I said, yes, I would like to check out and I would also like a full refund||They refused again, insinuating that

****Stay away from this hotel! They charge you $100 deposit which they say you will get back but I still have not received that back absolutely unacceptable****** this place steals your money stay far far away!!!! Guy at the front desk was super friendly. Lady with the purple hair not so much. Would have been nice to know about the 100 deposit. I better get that back. Our room smelled like cigarettes. I do not smoke so I better not be charged for that. Our room was also dainty. You can really tell housekeeping doesn't really care about a nice clean. There was a dead stink bug hanging in cobwebs on the wall over the bed. Rooms and bathrooms need to be updated.
