Baymont by Wyndham Henrietta/Rochester

This was one of the most unprofessional front desk interactions I have ever experienced. I called to book a room for one of my business employees. The receptionist (Benjamin), chose to mock and laugh instead of professionally explaining the hotel’s 21+ check-in policy. And It got worse. Benjamin himself suggested we speak to a manager. When we said yes and asked to do exactly that, he then said ( while laughing uncontrollably) that he was the manager. Meanwhile, my employee was left stranded at the desk waiting for a real solution while the situation was treated like a joke. This is not customer service. This is careless, disrespectful behavior from someone representing your front desk. Management should review the phone recordings and lobby cameras for this interaction on 2/27/26 9:30 p

Positive: Smelled good walking in. Nice friendly clerk who checked me in. Negative: I was given a handicap room and I don't remember chosing that kind. It was okay, I will be more careful and screenshot my rooms in the future.

I am giving this a 5 star review because for the price this was great! The service was really attentive especially Orlando, made my visit especially comfortable! The shower leaked a little bit, and does need to get fixed. But, a safe stay and definitely worth the money. The breakfast was fine and the coffee even good! Thanks again!

Front desk staff were great! That was all though. Walls are so thin, we could hear every sneeze, flush or talking in several adjacent rooms, as well as foot falls from the second floor. It was so loud, it sounded like people above us were moving furniture around the room. Our room was clean, but the shower was not. It had hair from a previous occupant on the walls. We alerted the front desk, and were assured it would be clean. We were in our room for 4 days, and it was never cleaned. As a matter of fact, our room was never cleaned our whole stay. We had to get towels from the front desk in order to shower, which was hard enough to do without touching the walls with hair on them. Will never stay here again.

Clean rooms right off i-90. We do not want to stay in Buffalo with the reviews so we chugged along to Rochester area and were very happy with rooms here. Everything was spotless, sanitary, clean, no smells. Comfy bed and the solid blind let us sleep in a little. Thank you to all hardworking housekeepers who do a phenomenal job! I am grateful for your service
