Baymont by Wyndham Durango

Clean room, very good mattress. Hot water takes a minute to flow after turning it on but it works. Heater took a while to figure out (hidden buttons) but worked well. For the price it was a good stay.

Positive: It was just a place to sleep. Nothing special. The bed was comfortable. Negative: Noisy staying on the main level due to activity in the room above. No sofa sleeper as advertised. The room was not at all as pictured in the online offer. Very poor remodeling of an old hotel.

I would not stay here again. The TV in our room didn’t work, and the room itself was not very clean. When we first arrived, the room was extremely cold, which we later realized was due to the door and window not being sealed properly. Cold air continually came in, so we had to use the small wall heater, which was very loud and heated the area unevenly. We were also placed in a room with a connecting door to the neighboring unit. Despite many empty rooms, guests with a young child were put next to us, and the noise traveled easily through the door. The child was loud late into the night and early in the morning, and overall the room offered very little sound insulation. I’m disappointed with the experience and feel the stay did not match the value. I would recommend choosing another hotel

We were given damp towels, the toilet seat was broken, the window had no screen and did not latch so we felt uneasy during our stay. The walls were not completed with holes and sheetrock exposed and outlets left uncovered. Pool was broken. Walls were absolutely paper thin. Did have a decent breakfast selection.

It was dirty both outside and inside. It smelled musty and foul at times. We should have slept in the car as we had nowhere else to go. There was a boot print on the ceiling, the bathroom has never been cleaned with bleach. The shower fixture was backward so cold was hot and hot was cold. We figured it out after 10 minutes of running the water to no avail. Please do not stay at Baymont Durango! Unless you like vomit on the sidewalk outside your room. The staff didn't seem concerned about our room and it's many disgusting features. Im so glad we were able to leave and get a room at a local resort.
