Baymont by Wyndham Canton

Made a reservation here through a second party app and ended up leaving without a refund after 2hrs. Checked into 206, luggage cart had 2 flat tires, I got moved to 135. Carpet was wet and the light turned off during my shower. Went to swap rooms and separate customer on 3rd floor complaining of soiled sheets, pee in toilet, no towels, and hair on floor. They were swapped rooms and I insisted on viewing next room before swapping. Was shown room 349 with a broken bed, then room 336 also with wet carpets. I was exhausted by this point, it was 8pm. The worker offered to show me more rooms, I declined. I asked for a refund, she declined. I contacted 3rd party and refunds are at the discretion of the hotel. So I just left without my $90ish.

Don’t stay here. The place is nasty. It stinks, the carpets are tore up, the furniture is old and broke down, the ceiling had a very bad repair job. I wish I would have taken more pics to show just how bad it is. There are plenty of nice hotels on the area so pay a couple bucks more and avoid this dump.

The entire hotel has a mold issue. There was clearly some flooding. We had 3 rooms. Each was wet to the touch, the carpet, the bed, everything. Even our belongings were wet just from being in there. We slept in our cars. They offered me 1 gift certificate for a free stay as compensation. The staff lives in the hotel. There are permanent residents throughout. The walls were dirty. The mirror covered in a film of some kind. We had a can of soda in the room for an hour and when we dumped it out it was filled with bugs.

Positive: For a budget hotel Baymont Wyndham certainly met high expectations. Room was clean, well appointed. Very nice pillow top mattress - firm yet fluffy. Well stocked breakfast every morning. Pool appears clean, well maintained. Staff friendly and competent. Negative: ""

Disgusting, Unsafe, and Completely Ignored by Booking.com This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel — and with Booking.com. I couldn’t even stay the night. The room reeked of mold and urine, the property was filthy and unsafe, and there were unsavory people loitering around. It was absolutely nothing like the photos online. I left immediately because I didn’t feel safe. I’ve called Booking.com for over a week, sent emails, and tried to contact the property with no response. Despite all of this, Booking.com has refused to issue a refund, even though I never stayed. This entire experience has been frustrating, exhausting, and unacceptable.
