I walked in looked around, refused to stay. I was refused a refund, and later when calling back the same guy uses different names. He was always in a hurry because he had “a line of people registering “ at 11am when check in doesn’t start until 3pm. |The place is filthy. The shower has no light and very small. Stains everywhere, evidence of mold. Barely room for more than the bed. Bed was hard and found human hairs. No AC. Paper thin walls. I will be contacting the Building Inspector for obvious code violations, as well as the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce. |There are better accommodations in MB for less money, like the Beach Bungalows who still luckily had a suite left as we were there July 4th weekend and they treated us so well. |This character George, John, or whatever he’s calling hi

So location is great, That's about the only thing great about it. The breakfast that's included is a coupon for a cinnamon roll next door. Yes just one cinnamon roll. No coffee. The tools are outdated, The bed was small, not quite a queen size. It's alright...

I would recommend this as a clean, reasonably price place, with a great view. The place is dated, but clean and comfortable. Never seen anyone in the office, but they had instructions to get checked in. When booking, all info you need to know is in their policy if you read it. There is a very nice view of the rock and bay from the 2nd story rooms. You can here through the walls and every door slamming because of the older building, but I would definitely visit again.

Excellent location within walking distance of the waterfront. Friendly owner checked me in. Room was tiny, but very affordable. Comfortable bed. No air conditioning, so I had to keep the window open, and there were noisy people outside in the courtyard for quite a while, keeping me awake.

The location/view of Morro Rock bumps this review up to 3 stars, otherwise it wasn’t very great. We booked a Standard King room. The room was basically the size of the bed, which isn’t a problem if your goal is mainly to explore the area. It was not the cleanest. The bed itself - tho big & seemed new-ish - was just okay in terms of comfort and unfortunately had dog/cat hair all in the sheets. I woke up once with a doghair in my mouth! (Thank goodness we aren’t allergic!) The walls were a little dingy with a bunch of scrape marks and like other reviews say, I think there was mold above the shower. The window doesn’t have a screen, so it can feel uncomfortable/unsafe to keep the window open/let the breeze in at night; we had to rely on the fan for cooling the warm room. The front office clos
