Bay Breeze Motel

I went to the Bay Breeze Motel on 07/11/25 with my family. When we arrived we thought we were mistaken because it looked nothing like the photos posted on Expedia. When we approached the front desk there was a man who was high and couldn’t stand up straight or articulate words properly. When he let us look one of the rooms it was dirty, with not a/c, limited access to the bathroom. In the bathroom the faucet was broken and there was no handle to open it. My sister hurt her finger trying to open it. The room also smelled of marijuana. We refused to stay in that place and told them that we will report it so the guy told us to leave the place and he will not charge my credit card. We came up from Connecticut for a few days with my granddaughter and her boyfriend and their dog dreamy. I usually stay at the Ocean Mist or the Red Jacket, or Bayside but since we were coming with a little 18b dog no one would take us. We came across this place by accident and thank God we did. First, I’m a block away from the ocean mist , same beach same area. Second for the price you get a Continental breakfast which should include Which should include waffle, eggs , Bacon and sausage along with their fruit cereal and bagels. That would be fantastic. The room was very clean and well kept up. Ocean Breeze is close to all activities and fine dining. We arrived at a bad time the town was doing road work right outside the motel. DO NOT STAY HERE! Do not give your credit card info to them!! |Double charged my credit card, they refused to reimburse me, now fighting charges. Room was disgusting, dirty, old food under the bed. Absolute dump. Gross people, seemed very unsafe.

My daughter and I had a great stay at this very clean and quant motel. Its proximity to the boardwalk and all local tourist places was excellent. Most importantly the service was outstanding and the owner of the motel has become a dear friend after just one night experience staying in the hotel. I am definitely coming back and staying at this motel to visit with the owner. He goes by the name Happy. Happy and the Bay Breeze Motel definitely will not disappoint you. Instead it will leave memories that you will surely cherish. Thank you Happy !
