Bay Breeze Inn

For a budget motel, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom also is clean and the beds are very comfortable (more comfortable than the Motel 6 I stayed at last night!) The location is central to a main street and not far at all from Monterey with good, nearby freeway access. The people at the front desk are very friendly. I'm so glad the room has a fridge and microwave! My room had 2 queen beds and I was able to park my car just a few steps from my door. I would book again here. For the money, this a BETTER VALUE than MOTEL 6. Very pleased.

The rooms are clean and tidy, with basic amenities such as a clean bathroom and fresh bedsheets. It’s a quiet place—I felt very peaceful staying here. The location is great for shopping and enjoying delicious food nearby, and the front desk staff are very friendly.

Room felt little old and musty. Bathroom was actually quite nice. Best part of the room. The worst part for me was that (in mid Oct when it wasnt hot) the room was incredibly hot inside. And the window had a screen door with huge holes so we could not leave it open. They do not have AC so winter would be the only time we woud consider staying here again. Kept waking up from being too hot. Had the ceiling fan going and the fan blowing right next to me in bed. Hardly slept. Not a great experience. Location was so so.

The staff was amazing. The bodybuilder guy was very kind and friendly. It took my 5 minutes to check in. When I walked into the office I was greeted with excitement. When I asked for an extra blanket and pillow, staff immediately got on it. All major attractions were only about a 10 minute drive. I appreciated that the hotel was next to a gas station for convince. Plus the price per night was fair. Our room smelled like smoke even though, that room was supposed to be non-smoking. Our sheets and blankets also had cigarette burn marks. The windows did not have screens so flies and other critters would come inside when we had the windows opened.

Staff is so wonderful. Friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean. Well stocked . Very comfortable. quiet and safe.
