Barclay Tower Suites

The rooms are in desperate need of attention. Mold being a huge concern. Holes in the wall. The black out curtain would work great if it actually fit the window or was hung correctly. Only 1 elevator works. Front desk won’t tell you that you can only park on the first floor of the parking garage. So heads up on that. Location and view of the beach are great if you don’t mind hearing the next room over snoring. Night shift service desk doesn’t exist so if you need toilet paper good luck. Our friends room didn’t have any and there was no one at the desk. Day shift seemed nice enough. The pull out sofa frame was broken. We got lucky with that others in our group found their pull out to be full of mold and wet.

Stayed at small one-bedroom unit in Oct 2025. Entrance through bedroom meant if anyone wanted to leave early in morning, they would wake up the other. Tiny kitchen. Always had to move stuff around even to make toast and coffee. Great location didn't make up for the very dated furniture and overall worn appearance.

I got here yesterday and I have never stayed at a place so dirty. I called the front desk to ask about cancelling this reservation and the front desk person said they don’t have authorization to do that. I called Priceline and they contacted the hotel and I am still waiting on a supervisor. I slept a total of maybe 4 hours on a rock hard mattress with hard pillows, the bathroom is gross and the water stopped up, the room smelled like grease and cigarettes. The bedroom tv doesn’t work. When we pulled out the pull out sofa there were yellow stains all over the bedding and crumbs. You don’t get any sleep because they thought it would be a good idea to put the bed right next to the main door in this “suite”. The floor was dirty and the pots and pans still have food on them. Positive: the area & the view! Oh and the coffee machine in the lobby! Negative: The hot tub was not hot, the pool was warmer most days. The room had broken things, dirty areas, dirty dishes.

Had high hopes for this place, but was let down tremendously! First impressions while booking the room it looked like a very nice place, the pictures on the sight made it look like a wonderful and reasonably priced place to stay. However upon arrival the lady at the front desk was to preoccupied with brushing her hair and seemed to be inconvenienced by our arrival. We were made to sign a waiver saying that we would not smoke in the room or on the balcony, but upon first entering the room it smelled like I was walking into the house of someone who chainsmoked for years. The overall cleanliness of the room was awful, and the pictures I have attached to this review is what the room looked like as soon as we walked into the room.
