My husband stayed here at the Aura from 01/19/26 to 01/23/26 and I are originally from the area and know what the area was so we lived here so we very surprised when we got to this hotel better than expected, our room was on the 4th floor king size bed (overly comfy) with a balcony. The view was of the next door roof and building but we weren't there for the view. This hotel was in a convenient location to visit my father, so I will definitely be staying again soon. Food delivery was easy or just walking to Gianni's pizza or to the corner to Rosemary Kosher supermarket definitely worth a visit. Cab service was so convenient and reasonable shout out to "International cab company". The Aura is awesome we have no complaints just praises. Thank you for a great stay. P.S. they were putting la

First and most importantly I felt very safe as a solo female traveler staying at Aura as well as walking in the area around the hotel. Bed was comfortable; and a spacious room for New York standards.. The front desk staff was friendly. Only negative goes to the towels, they’ve seen better days. Definitely would stay there again.

Positive: "" Negative: Not a 4 star hotel at all. Felt like a motel. Bathroom smelled like mildew and towels were damp upon arrival.

Regrettably I have to agree with all of the negative reviews given for this hotel. It is shabby & poorly staffed, although each receptionist did their best, they don’t have a good product to work with. The air conditioning unit began making a terrible noise halfway through our stay & gradually stopped cooling by the time we lest 5 days later. The kitchen has nothing in it so is useless. The rooms are adequate but well worn and threadbare. The very worst and most unforgivable is that the internet never worked. I had to work so this was a huge setback for me. The receptionist gave me the staff code for the WiFi, but that never worked either. The key card repeatedly did not work so I was eventually given a real key to use. Technology seems to be a real issue in this hotel. The area has little

Well you got to be Soviet Person like me to understand the hotel. Bed was clean and in great shape. Hot water problem mentioned here is manageable if you are a soviet person. Keep running hot water if someone is also getting shower in the building water will get cold, they will shut off showers and you get hot water. Well again you got to be soviet person to know this also same way stock market works everyone sells during crash and smart money buys.
