Aspen Resort & Campground

We ended up at Aspen Resort after a difficult situation and the owners did not disappoint. David, Cora and family worked hard to make this place like a second home for us and our kids. They have activities for the kids to stay busy and have made our kids feel they belonged there. The dock boys were friendly and respectful and very helpful anytime we needed. If you are looking for a great fishing experience with an amazing family-owned resort up north, make sure you check this place out!

Another wonderful trip in the books!!! We had a blast fishing and being at Aspen Resort! David, Cora, Cody, and Julie are like family to us and they go above and beyond to make sure you have fantastic stay - even tow your boat in when you get stuck! 😜 We look forward to this trip every year and can't wait for next year! Hopefully the pool will be back to beautiful but it didn't stop us from enjoying the resort.

Aspen Resort is AMAZING...the people, the fishing, the cabins - you name it; this is a resort worth experiencing. Our family has been visiting Aspen for the previous 4 years and have enjoyed each visit just as much as the past. We spend the early mornings fishing, the afternoons relaxing and the evenings fishing too - always trying to get one big enough for their 'wall of fame,' Relaxing afternoons include playing on the beach, visiting the arcade, grabbing a treat from the lodge or talking a walk to explore nature and it's wildlife. My two sons and I stayed here with three of my friends for a week of fishing. We have been coming up to Canada to fish and decided to try some place closer to home. This place is top notch. I would give 6 stars if I could. This family owned resort is so friendly, accommodating, and actually deeply care about their guests. The cabinets are nice and well kept. Wildlife all over the property. They bent over backwards to make sure we made as many memories as we could. They had free daily kids activities like cookie decorating, ice cream social, hot dog cookout, s’more night at the fire, minnow races, etc. We caught a lot of fish and the boat we rented was in very good shape. From the first day we were treated like family. The entire facility is so clean and welcoming. So many fun activities for the entire family too.|The cabins are rustic enough but with current updates, dishwasher, satellite tv and a/c. Always a great time!
