Ashworth by the Sea

I stayed here this past weekend for a conference - the hotel is right on the water; we had views from our room of the ocean, which was splendid in March. The area itself, everything is closed on the strip, but the Flamingo Coffee Shop was very good, and larger normal shopping areas are about a 20 minute ride. The bed was very comfortable; the sleeper sofa definitely needs to be upgraded, or a mattress topper needs to be added. But for the conference, it was perfect for our group. Working in the hospitality industry, I was very happy with the services here and the conference rooms and ballroom chairs. The ambiance of the rooms were inviting and I loved all the silver accents. My partner and I were in town and the breakfast spot was getting ready to close. Diane welcomed us in like old friends. The service and food was excellent (my Eggs Benedict with hash was amazing actually). Kudos to Michael who put love and care into our food. At no time did we feel rushed - and with the off season, the window view was perfect. We couldn’t have had a better experience!

We had a good time it being are first time here in this hotel. Staff was pretty nice and respectful. Breakfast was really good. The room was comfortable and so were the beds. Rooms were pretty clean and had no bad smell... what i think was pretty cool was that they had a couple water bottles on the dresser for us and everything was well organized. We can definitely say we enjoyed our stay.

We booked a room for my husbands company Christmas party! Gerry was amazing with answering our questions, he was so polite! Ron was great at check in. He had a wonderful sense of humor! All the staff at the party were attentive and kind! The bartenders did a wonderful job! Bed was comfy, room was clean, and view of the ocean was nice even if it was an off season time of year! We will be back for sure!

The first room started to shower just enough hot watwr to soap up then cold.... Not clean in the bathroom, there was hair on the sink from someone who shaved their beard before us. Floor was dirty thru out the room. They did move us to a smaller room :-(. Did not think that was possible. The floor was dirty, with a thick layer of dust on the top of the TV. When I originally went to book my room, I called the hotel to see what our group rates were since I was going for a 3-day workshop being held at the hotel. I was given regular hotel rates I could get online. There is no special rate for our group. So I booked thru someone else and had a much better rate.
