Aquarius Hotel

The only thing I have positive to say about the room was it was in a decent location write on the boardwalk within all the attractions. Stayed here for Valentine's Day and reserved the room with the whirlpool. The room was not clean... after working all day I spent 45 minutes scrubbing the floor on my hands and knees because there was food and soda spilled all over it. The towels had brown stains all over them as well as the sheets on the bed. The Jets and the tub did not work. And the water did not properly heat up until the following morning. We were on the 8th floor there is no Wi-Fi access that far up which means cable also does not work. I spoke to the lady upon check out and she reassured me she would inform the manager. The hotel is by far the worst I've stayed at in Va beach. No service is to be had. Parking is a nitemare. The room lay out is horrible. The toilet is sideways so your legs are touching the bath tub. The smell is so bad. We ended up getting bites from fleas. This is an animal friendly hotel. Efficiency rooms have no utensil or cookware. You get one miniature size trash can for whole room. The floors need replacing badly. Stains all over the couch and curtains. Windows not cleaned. Run far from this place unless your willing to deal with a lot of nastiness.

I arrived with zero heat turned on in a huge two room suite. I had to walk around with my jacket on in my room. It was freezing and just as cold as outside without the wind. It is 6:41 a.m. and these rooms are still cold. There was a mold ring in the toilet so no one did a spiff on the room. I washed my new wine glasses in the dishwasher and that leaked all over the kitchen floor. The hot water on the sink to the right of the vanity never got hot. The sink located closest to the shower got warm. I purchased this room because it had a huge soaking jacuzzi bath tub in the master bedroom. The water never got hot enough for a nice soak. The hotel must have the water temperature control because I did not even need cold water to adjust the temp...it was just barely warm. To top off my

The hotel needs a lot of updating. The elevator is slower then ever. You’d wait a good 10 mins just for it to stop on your floor. The one Indian lady at the front desk always had an attitude and was rude. The one step in the stair way has messed up stairs and you could see where multiple people dropped cups and food and items from falling (that needs fixed) other then that my family enjoyed our stay but won’t be staying back at this hotel again. We left the hotel cleaner then when we arrived.
