Aqua Vista Resort Hotel

The rooms are very dated. Updates and refurbishments are needed. Door handles for bathroom are falling off, walls are filthy and need re-wallpapered or painted. Shower curtain does not fit the shower, water spills on the floor. The phone in the room doesn't work. It was like pulling teeth to get the guest internet password. For a hotel to be non-smoking their rooms smell like cigarette smoke / pot. Front desk personal are very rude. I would not recommend this room unless it wss the last hotel available in Virginia Beach. Thumbs down 👎. DO BETTER AQUA VISTA AND TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS BETTER. You could learn from HOLIDAY INN.

They fixed it the next day so that was OK but our clothes had to stay on the portable cart Number three they checked us out before we were set to leave. Had to get our keys redone. Questioning why we didn’t check out the day before we were supposed to!?!?!?!? We were gone all day Saturday. They did not clean the room at all. They said they were short staffed. I suggest the management start working to keep this place appropriate. But it is probably too late.I will never ever ever ever stay here again. It is set to be remodeled. My sister and I stayed here this past week for our birthday, the rooms were outdated, sheets a lil dingy, we had a broken balcony chair, a really dirty chair inside , who was sitting on that nasty thing because we didn’t, the headboard was broken and fell off the wall , the stand in between he beds was broken and chipped and the tv stand was all chipped and why was the bathroom sink outside the bathroom on the other side of the wall, they have 7 floors and one elevator so that was a bit annoying at checkout, we had to keep waiting for it to come back about 5 times or so just to go down. Although the staff was very friendly and accommodating I would never stay there again, my sister and her boyfriend saw two roaches in their room and their room was also a mess.

If you want beach front location with a balcony overlooking the water for cheap, this is it. The beds were not comfy, they squeaked and the pillows are flat. The furniture is older and the bathroom has that type of paint coating where they don't use painters tape. The microwave wasn't working and there's no breakfast included, the only elevator takes forever. But with that said, the location is fabulous, the balcony was great and the room was spacious enough for two adults looking for a quick get away focused on getting to the beach more than anything. The price can't be beat, parking was included but very snug. This would be a rougher place with little kids for a family vacation.

Didn't have bugs, didn't smell bad, and clean beds. That's really all I expect. Bathroom was really clean. The room was pretty outdated, and had some minor maintenance issues like loose ceiling lights and bubbled/damaged paint. Weed smell in the hallways was annoying with my kid. Only 1 elevator for being on 6th floor. Parking was the only bad part. It's about a block over and very tight. Definitely had to worry about my car, especially because Virginia Beach isn't doing anything about the homeless people. I was very satisfied with the hotel manager Felipe Perez. He was very helpful and professional. You can tell he has a lot of patience.
