Appalachian Rustic Cabin

If you want a million dollar view, this is the place for you. The cabin is like being back in the past but with all the conveniences of the present. The quiet is amazing with it being broken by birds and frogs. The drive up and down the mountain is quite a experience too, especially if you like roller coasters.

Been here many times and it's always an excellent time. George is a great host, the views are wonderful and the property is well kept. Close to downtown but in a remote mountaintop tranquil setting

This is an incredible place to stay! My wife and I celebrated part of our 40th anniversary weekend in this cabin retreat and the accommodations & hospitality exceeded our expectations. It’s not a resort, it’s a rustic cabin appointed with antiques and wonderful old knick knacks from an era gone by. George is a fantastic host and just a genuine human being! If you like clean, organized, rustic with a million dollar view, this is your spot.

Not a place to stay. Private drive postings all over the road leading up to it. Great views on the way up, though.
