Reasonable rooms, reasonable price, super close to the beach. Staff was very friendly. Thanks guys! Room is a little dated, but I knew that when I booked it. You're just not going to find a better price for a decent room this close to the beach.

Great location, just a 5-minute walk to the beach. The room is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with the most essentials. They offer parking spaces and have an outdoor shower to rinse off sand after a swim. However, the price is a bit high, and I didn't receive the Wi-Fi details despite asking for them. I recommend it.

What a horrible experience. Hopefully I can save someone else from staying here. The only thing it has going for it is that it’s near the beach as in you can walk to it, but I wasn’t going to the beach so that made no difference to me. The neighborhood is unsafe. You are literally stepping over homeless people on the sidewalks. Across the street are two extremely noisy bars that will keep you up all night because of the screaming drunks. The place is rundown, and the rooms are dirty. They don’t have basic amenities like shampoo. The management has an attitude problem. After the first night of zero sleep, they refused to move our room to a quieter area, even though other rooms were open. We ended up leaving after the first night because of the lack of safety. We had to do not disturb sign o

I don’t often write reviews, but feel compelled in this case to save others from making a mistake. The ”cottage” which is actually more of an apartment, is infested with cockroaches. Additionally, stepping into the room you are hit with the strong odor of mildew - very musty. Then within minutes of entering the room, the largest cockroach I have ever seen, ran up the wall behind the headboard. It stayed on the wall the entire time we packed to leave the room. I contacted the manager to return the key and he offered to refund us for the stay. He said it would take few days to process. One month later, I have not received the refund and the manager refuses to respond. I must also note that the location of this hotel is in a bad area. There are many people hanging out on the street smoking

The staff was amazing! They were making jokes with my kids and was really kind! The room was clean and so cute! The only thing I wish was different is a broom and dust pan in the room to keep the sand swept up. I know not everyone will use it but we sure would have. We will not use any other location for Virginia Beach! The simple walk of 1.5 blocks to the beach was great! It is basically right beside everything you need or want to do! Everything was absolutely perfect!
