Leroy is amazing. Brett was lovely too. Everything else about this hotel was rough. Rooms were dirty, and very noisy. The plumbing was dysfunctional - a maintenance guy had to show me how to use the shower because to quote him, “it was installed incorrectly” No one came in to freshen up the room each day so we had to request towels. Once we were told there were “no large towels available” so they gave us a couple hand towels. Also - didn’t know that the hotel had a reputation for being haunted, but that meant there were lots of tours around the hotel at any given moment. Overall- the experience was disappointing and not worth what we paid to stay here. It’s pretty clear the hotel owners are deprioritizing this property to focus on others, which is a shame. It has a lot of potential.
The hotel has the BEST location. One block to Jackson Square and one block to Bourbon Street. The hotel is on Royal and one of my fav streets on NOLA. The courtyard is amazing and peaceful. You can have busy or relaxing whatever you prefer. My room didn’t have a fridge but the staff kept my coffee creamer in the main refrigerator. The front desk is always staffed and they are very helpful. The room was small but enough space to move around. We will be back as soon as we can.
Stayed here with my daughter for her 21st birthday. Great location, close to everything in the quarter. Staff was always warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Felt safe at all times. Prompt service regarding the valet service. Overall, I would recommend and I would stay here again. Gave 4 stars because we did experience some loud lobby door noise at night (nothing ear plugs wouldn't have solved) and they didn't have hair dryers available.
Positive: good location Negative: We didn't have hot water in the bathroom, and we asked for maintenance twice, they never showed up, so we never did get hot water.
My boyfriend and I came for the holidays and were thrilled to find a room available in the French Quarter with a balcony, and at a price that felt affordable for the value. We were pleased with our stay and would absolutely come back! |We really enjoyed hearing the buskers outside playing banjos and violins. It was a great atmosphere! |Our towels were restocked halfway through our stay which was nice, and the coffee in the mornings were so helpful and perfect as I really need it before I can leave. Thank you for an exceptional NOLA visit!
