We had a great experience at Andaz Savannah. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made a positive first impression. The hotel is in a convenient spot with plenty to do nearby; we were able to walk to the riverfront and explore the Christmas market, which was a nice touch during our stay. Our room was on the smaller side but comfortable, clean, and nicely designed. It overlooked the terrace, which had a pleasant pool area and a fire pit, and the hotel provided fun extras like s’mores kits in the evening, which added a nice, cozy element to the stay. Room also included some complimentary snacks and Coke products, which was nice. One downside was parking—valet is expensive, and the suggested parking deck was full for most of our stay. We had to p

From the moment we arrived Ervin loaded everything from our car at Valet and was extremely helpfull at informing us about the hotel and the surrounding area. His service was exemplary. He is a great employee to introduce the hotel amenities to guests at arrival. At the front desk they were very accommodating and friendly catering to our needs The concierge was excellent and caring taking care of our needs from getting us tickets to museums we wanted to visit and giving us directions to places we wanted to go. We had a fantastic stay at the Andaz Hyatt Savannah and can’t recommend it enough. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown, steps away from River Street, shops, restaurants, and historic sights. It made exploring the city effortless and enjoyable. This is a really nice Hotel, the staff was great always smiling! Irving, our valet that parked our vehicle for us was the most outgoing person we met there. He really helped us out and took the time and talked and made us feel very welcome to his city. Our room was very nice and clean! Breakfast was really good, the Grits was the Bomb!

Positive: The room was good but the hotel charged fees upon arrival & that is wrong. Don't allow added fees that I did not agree to when I reserved my room. Their doing that tells me that Hyatt has no integrity? This leads to a distrust of large corporations. Negative: The hotel is very clean, the pool area was a great space to hang out in, and the location was great. The hotel needs to just stop adding fees.
