Americas Best Value Inn Ukiah

I’ve been reading these reviews with my girlfriend after our stay at this hotel and we figured we’d share our experience here as well. Things started off rocky, there was absolutely no mention of a deposit online or on the phone while creating the reservation for the room, we ended up borrowing money from a friend to be able to keep our reservation. The guy at the front desk checking us in was a bit rude but the lady (seemed to be his daughter) was so much more helpful and polite. Once we got settled in our room things ended up getting better, room was in a quiet area where nobody bothered us, upon checkout the $50 deposit was returned within a couple hours. Overall we would stay here again knowing about the deposit, however mentioning that a deposit was required either on their webpage or

Heater didnt work. People in other rooms partyied all night and all day. Playing loud music and traffic in all night long. Couldn't sleep all night. Its a motel not a place to blast music all night. Did not feel safe here at all. How can the owners not see the drug traffic if they watch the property good?

Positive: The cleanliness of the room. Negative: The air conditioner was slow to start.

⭐ 1-Star Review: Discriminated Against & Left to Sleep in My Car I had one of the worst experiences of my life at America’s Best Value Inn. I booked and paid online for my room, and nothing—absolutely nothing—mentioned an additional $100 deposit required at check-in. When I arrived, instead of being welcomed as a paying guest, I was treated with disrespect and discrimination. The front desk staff refused to check me in unless I paid the unexpected deposit, even though it was never disclosed on the website or during the booking process. Their attitude toward me was unprofessional and dismissive, and the way they spoke to me made me feel singled out and unwelcome. This hotel is a Gem compared to the rest in the area for the money. Not only was it clean, safe and quiet the service was great. My husband George travels a lot for work and its really hard to find a decent quiet place for him to get rest. However Americas Best Value served all he needed and was quiet. Happy stay equals happy husband.. Thank you for actually keeping your place trash and vagrant free.. see you next week.
