Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Racine

Stayed here once in the past, don’t remember issues that time. Stayed there this past week as I’m from Wisconsin but live in Minnesota now and was visiting family for the holidays. Get there and immediately the price for the room was more than the advertised price outside on the sign. Get to the room and the toilet tank cover wasn’t fitting correctly and looked either backwards or like a lid for a totally different toilet. AC/heater unit was extremely loud. Food crumbs on the floor around the bed. Curtain didn’t close all the way so I’m sure people seen in and we seen headlights all night long coming and going. Finally get to sleep around midnight after a long day, wake up to the fire alarm chirping from almost dead battery, let front desk know and he just came in and took it down. No offe

My first room wasn’t clean at all—the housekeeper clearly hadn’t done their job.The second room smelled terrible. I asked for a refund, but because I booked through a third party, they said it’s not guaranteed.The third room was an “upgrade,” but even that was disappointing. The floor was sticky, and the shower didn’t have hot water.I asked to speak with the manager, and I’m still waiting for a call back.Overall: don’t stay here.As they say: “shitty place, shitty service.”

I don't recommend staying here. We was in town for 2 night and ended up leaving super early the 1st morning. The room was not clean, bed clothes has nasty stains on them, the tub had idk whay in it but it absolutely disgusting, the place smelled like weed, we tried to talk to the person working and they pretty much said on well. Been trying to contact management but apparently he only works part time.

This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had in my years of traveling. We had five rooms reserved and two hours before we were to arrive, We got a call from the manager stating they were having plumbing problems and they needed to cancel our rooms. |We arrived at the hotel asking if there were any rooms available, they said yes we just had five cancellations. I then informed them that I was the reservation and I wanted those rooms. They tried to tell me the rooms were now tripled in price and would be over $600 when they were originally $220. ||They did offer us rooms at the Knights Inn, which a few of our party went and looked at, they were horrible, filled with bedbugs And not anything I would ever consider staying at. I checked into this hotel yesterday afternoon. The check in process was smooth as always as I have stayed here numerous times. I live in Chicago and stay here whenever I am in town. However, after yesterday’s incident, I will not be returning back. My husband and I got back to our hotel room after a family party around 1AM. When my husband and I entered our room, it was dark. Out of nowhere, a woman in there starting screaming and yelling at us. She was telling us to get out and started cursing at us uncontrollably. I do not blame her.
