Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Joshua Tree National Park

I've been here a few times already. My friend recommended them because her experience here has always been great. I love booking this place. I travel with my mom with disabilities and they are very good at accommodating us with her needs. I consider this place my home away from home. As Arnold says, "I'll be back" 😎

Positive: Close enough to Joshua Tree but I'm sure there are closer, better hotels you could book instead. Next time, we will choose another hotel. Negative: Staff called the room at 9:45AM, pounded on our door at 10AM and 10:30AM. Incredibly rude. We were not running late. We did not check out late but they were treating us as if we were wrong for using the room after 9AM (despite check out being 11AM).

I stayed a single night while visiting Joshua tree and this was a great deal. The traditional rooms matched their pictures online. The room was clean and had an internal deadbolt that made me feel safer staying alone. The location was super convenient for visiting the park and getting food after. The owners were very nice and checked in with me while I was there.

This place is disgusting do not stay here. There was a dead mouse in the hot tub. The hot tub was ice cold never hot the 3 days we were there. There was food in the oven that looked very old. The floor doesn’t look like it has ever been mopped.

We found this hotel and gave it a chance since the themed rooms looked quirky (looking past their old, dingy appearance). Despite calling and confirming a specific room with the owner, when we got there he stated the room was unavailable. He became very defensive and denied any possibility that he noted the wrong room, adamant that I had made the mistake and definitely had requested another room (I am Persian and it was the Persian room lol). He then cancelled our stay and told me I will have to call Expedia to get the refund. The hotel itself did not look clean and we were treated very poorly. I do not recommend staying here.
