Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Houston Veterans Memorial

Management (a lady by the name of Jyoti) was extremely rude and unaccomodating. I became extremely ill during my stay at the hotel and management was unsympathetic. The hotel staff treated me horribly. Management charged to utilize the amenities (oven) in the hotel room. I was treated like a animal. Upon check out, a notation was put into the hotel's database to refuse future service in the event that I returned. I had done absolutely nothing to warrant this! I recently had another awful experience at another hotel that Jyoti also manages (The Days Inn &Suites). The rooms at this particular hotel were extremely dirty! Honestly I love this place I was going thru some things and I stayed here a couple of days the staff was extremely nice the cleaning staff was extremely accommodating and would ask me if I needed anything I felt cared for I would recommend this place to anyone I seen the other reviews I honestly don't know if it is under new management but big thanks to the family and group of people working there today

So let’s talk about it I’m here visiting and have to finish my hair before my plans tomorrow and the gentleman was rude already at check out. Now money isn’t a issue how ever I book a room they give me a smoking room didn’t ask if I smoke which I do not at all the sheets have burn holes in it and it smells like a sunk. I just came in the room since I bought it. Checking eaverything the bathroom is dirty and the bed looks uses. It has great reviews so I said ok let’s check it out. No I ask for new sheets the man told me no the man said it a smoking room but he didn’t mention I told him I don’t want a smoking room but u know it’s my lost so I’m going to report this for not being clean and not assisting to help. Don’t recommend

UNDER A NEW MANAGEMENT! The service was great and the room was clean. The staff were friendly and were able to extend my stay here an extra day. I really enjoyed my time here and the hotel is private with no complaints. Would stay here again.
