Americas Best Value Inn Richmond San Francisco

This hotel was ok. I was nervous once I got off the freeway. It's located right off the freeway and the hotel is on the corner. The picture shown on the web is deceiving. In reality, the backside could use some TLC. As soon as we pulled in the parking lot, my sister wanted to find another hotel. I booked the hotel for 3 nights. We wanted to stay one night then find another place to stay, but since I already paid for the room, we toughed it out. The room was decent with two beds, a sink outside of the bath room and the toilet and shower with a door next to the bed. They give you 3 towels 1 wash cloth and 1 face towel. When I ask the cleaning staff for more face towels, she huffed at me and said only 1 per room. She gave in and gave me 2 more towels. My sister noticed a tiny spot on he

Well appointed room with a fridge and a microwave. The only fly in the ointment is that it SMELLED TOO CLEAN. I WOULD RATHER NOT BE HIT WITH ANY ODOR WHEN I WALK INTO A 214. It's a common problem, and I fear that many people think the smell of disinfectant means that it's been thoroughly cleaned. People can be very dumb.

Great price. Location is good if you have a car, limited to downtowns and also a busy road full of auto shops and restaurants. A bit noisy since it’s next to high way, but still acceptable.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The front staff was easily the most rude and unreceptive person I’ve ever experienced in the hotel industry. His nonchalant attitude, lack of focus on my issues and lollygagging around the hotel issues or general hotel attendance was unacceptable.

Positive: "" Negative: The bathroom was absolutely filthy! I could see mold on the tiles in my room. I found not one, but 4 blonde hairs within my bedsheets before I got in them. Makes me wonder if they were even washed before being placed back on the bed.
