Americas Best Value Inn Houston Hobby Airport

I actually had a nice stay here! Ended up paying for a whole week. But I had to take a star off because..... The rooms are pretty outdated and the bedding is poor quality. But other than that, I had a very nice stay! The manager and staff at this hotel are very friendly & helpful. Good customer service! Oh and just a heads up, there are absolutely no vending machines or any food or drinks you can buy on the property...so make sure you bring your own!

Positive: Location was perfect and the staff was very nice and accommodating Negative: They need shower mats. The tub was very slippery

We wanted to be within close proximity to the Johnson Space Center but didn't want to spend alot of money. I didn't expect much. However the beds and pillows were sufficient and comfortable. I asked for a first floor room and he told me that the air had been off for awhile in that room but the second floor rooms were nice and cool. We got in the room... Kicked the air on high... And went to eat to allow time for the room to cool. The room had a decent sized fridge and microwave. The staff was very nice. It seemed to be family owned. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of variety for breakfast. I know it was free continental breakfast but it was prewrapped pastries... Cereal... And coffee. Other than that I was OK with everything else.

The hotel is dated, no question about that and it's in a bad area but that can't be helped. The room was as clean as an older hotel can be, I wouldnt walk or shower barefoot. I also threw my own blanket on top of the bed just bc I'm a little bit of a princess like that. There were no bugs which is always my #1 fear no matter how new or old a place is. The guy at the desk was so nice and kind. He even told me to go get cash for the $50 deposit bc they release it the same day but lots of times it can take a cpl weeks to go back to ur card. They didn't complain when I had a friend over for a visit which was nice. The noise is unreal!! Between the freeway and the airport. If ur a light sleeper u can hang it up. Hobby must have a runway with the path at a perpendicular angle to the

Very convenient for quick stay, rooms were clean staff very nic. Easy access to Hobby Houston. However wouldn't recommend for more than a nights stay for anyone looking for amenities this is just a motel with a clean space.
