Americas Best Value Inn Decatur, GA

I had a nightmare experience at this hotel. The room smelled overwhelmingly of wet dog, and the walls and doors were visibly filthy. The maintenance is nonexistent; there was duct tape all over the floors to hold down lifting panels, the bathroom mirror was shattered at the bottom, and the sink light didn't work. To make matters worse, the bathroom door latch was broken, so it wouldn't even stay shut, let alone lock. The worst part: My sister woke up with bites all over her body. We later confirmed it was body lice. This is a major health code violation. On top of the safety and hygiene issues, the area is bad and they only provide two paper-thin pillows. Save your money and your health—stay anywhere else.

Rooms look like motel rooms. KING bed had stains on top cover. Motel setup look. A guy/girl went into a room, not sure their reason. They already had a key. Adult stuff.

This place is terrible. The bed, sheets, head of bed, walls were dirty and unsanitary. Mirror was broken. The environment is horrible. We had to ask for clean sheets and after receiving what was considered taken straight out of the dryer it was still discolored and dirty. It’s not a great place to lay your head. I wouldn’t even label it as an okay place either. I could go on but let the pictures speak for itself. You would have a better peace of mind sleeping in your car. ||We had to leave!

Do your self a favor and avoid this place at all costs. They definitely have bug infestation and refuse to do anything about it and they are the worst people all that matters to them is the $120 a night

The room was in terrible condition and the room was $115, maybe cause it was the weekend! They have better rooms than the one we had! Customer service has to get better!
