Americas Best Inn Beaufort

Ok when we first arrived the room they gave us was very dirty and the door handle fell off. The owners apologized and said that room shouldn't have been given to us as they are renovating. As I look around you can tell they are definitely trying to do upgrades. Our room they gave us the second time was much nicer. New carpet new redone bathroom. We felt it was good so we stayed. Our cost was 110 for the night. Country Inn and Suites is next door and they wanted $238 for one night! So if you want to save a little $$$ then this place isn't bad.

This place is terrible!!! Very rundown, nonsmoking room reeked of cigarette smoked! No WiFi or breakfast and only one small vending machine with nothing to drink! I am disabled but there is no cart or anything to move my luggage to the room. That meant I had to drag my things down the walk way to get everything into my room!!! No help at all!! Even though I added an extra day I had to check out at 11am, no late checkout and then I was not allowed to check back in until 3pm!!! Thank goodness I booked with an outside agency and I was able to cancel the second night and was refunded. First night was $80 through the motel!!!! Second night would have been $63 through the online booking company!!! Also there was a large communication issue because the clerk doesn’t speak English!!!!! Beware of t

Positive: Nothing Negative: I have a service dog with paperwork and was told there is no federal law about it and would have to pay the fee. Our room had roaches, had eggs that were smashed on the wall. Chair was torn apart nothing was clean. Door had been kicked in,

Ok. I can't speak for the entire building itself, but based on the reviews I've seen, I'm pretty sure it's not just this room with issues. When we first came here, they said our room wasn't ready and that it would be in an hour. We came back later and settled down, but I decided to start looking around (can't recall why). I found stains on the bedsheets, comforter, inside the freezer (I have a picture), and one on the wall by the door. The bathroom smells a bit odd, and the door is 'peeling' at the bottom. The paint is coming off of several different places inside and out of the building. I've found odd indents on the floor, the wood is chipping in one area, and there's a hole in the curtain. (I have a video to show that it's not a separate form of the curtain). Everything else is...decent

Married couple runs it while husband acts like he doesnt know whats going on. Rooms are filthy, full of roaches, exposed wiring so dont bring kids, majority is run down and covered in mildew. Was told I can get the night back I did not stay and have still not received any refund. This place is not worth the affordable price. I told them id like to check out due to roaches the lady said but you wanted the cheap room... does that make roaches ok ?... I also did not ask for the cheapest room I asked for a room, the husband said something in there language and the wife repeated in English oo give him the cheap room. This place is sickening and needs to be shut down.
