Amara Resort and Spa

Overall our stay at Amara was fabulous! Your staff is exceptional. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The car park staff are great and you should do all you can to keep them. Everyone works hard to help guests have a pleasant and positive experience. The spa was so relaxing. We had a couples massage and it was wonderful. The spa area is very nice and, again, everyone was welcoming. Do some research before you book your room. Rooms facing the courtyard area (which includes the restaurant patio and pool) have a wonderful view; however, you have to deal with the fun everyone is having down there day and night. This was our first trip to Sedona and Amara Resort was the perfect location. Short walk into Uptown Sedona or golf cart ride from the valet. Everyone at the hotel is super helpful and friendly. The hotel has a very relaxed vibe and beautiful view of the red rocks from the patio and pool area.|Rooms were a great size, very clean and comfortable beds. Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was lovely. Pretty views, great staff, and comfortable room. The restaurant had amazing food. A plus we enjoyed was the stargazing event with an astronomer. So cool! For a “resort and spa” though, it would have been nicer to have a bigger or more hot tubs (the one in the pool area is tiny) and more spa amenities that were included. Using the spa is a separate thing/charge. It feels more like a boutique hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. Evenings by the pool were especially memorable, with the fireplace creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt both cozy and luxurious. The oak creek behind the property, with ducks gliding by, added a peaceful, scenic charm that made the surroundings feel incredibly relaxing. The infinity pool and jacuzzi offered breathtaking views of the red mountains — easily the highlight of our stay. Our room was spotless & comfortable. Overall, a truly first-class experience.

When can I move in permanently?! Lovely ambiance; staff is unparalleled for service and friendliness; stunning view from our king view room. We booked through Chase so breakfast was included and was delicious. We can recommend the cowboy benedict (although we made a substitution for the ham) and everything bagel plate (with a sub for the bacon). The room is spacious and well appointed and our balcony has a view of the grounds as well as red rock. (It even has a Smeg beverage fridge!) Soundproofing is great; there was quite a crowd gathered on a seating area about 30 foot away and down 1 floor, but when we closed the patio door, we did not hear a thing.
