Altus Lodge

We absolutely loved our stay at Altus Lodge. The location is unbeatable, right in downtown Silverton and walking distance to everything, yet still quiet and peaceful at night. The lodge itself is so cute and thoughtfully decorated, every detail feels intentional and cozy without being overdone. Our room was incredibly comfortable, the bed was amazing, and the little touches really set this place apart, especially the s’mores kit and the robes, which made it feel extra special. The views were absolutely gorgeous, and the cedar hot tub was such a treat after a day of skiing and exploring. You can really tell the owners and staff are incredibly thoughtful about the overall guest experience. We can’t wait to come back and would recommend Altus Lodge to anyone visiting Silverton. Truly a gem.

Altus Lodge is the perfect mountain getaway! I stayed here for my 40th birthday with friends and family and we loved it. There is something for everyone, from the quaint town of Silverton to the close proximity to resort boarding/skiing at Purgatory or backcountry expeditions at Silverton Mountain. Après in the hot tub and take in gorgeous mountain sunsets. Roast s’mores by the fire in the provided robes at night and gaze at the stars!

The hot tub alone is enough to book this place. The beds are so comfortable, shower had plenty of hot water, king suite was very spacious, walk across the street to the grocer. I have zero negative feedback. I’d book this time and time again. Took us about 17 min to get to the base of the resort too.

This place is a pretty nice stay while in Silverton. The bed was super comfy, the rooms pretty spacious and I loved the amenities (soap, shampoo, lotion, microwave, full coffee pot, fridge). The only things I would change are that they put blinds in the bathroom window as the taller house behind it can see right in- we had to block it with towels. The coffee is Folgers and something local, or any other coffee, would've been nicer. The towels were all stained but the stay itself was great. No actual key to haggle with, a community room with board games and a hot tub, which I unfortunately ran out of time to use. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Altus Lodge! The check in process was incredibly easy which made arriving stress free. The lodge is conveniently located in downtown Silverton, right next to a grocery store, which was a huge plus. The rooms were clean, updated, and super cute, clearly well cared for and thoughtfully designed. Everything about our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and the location made it easy to explore the area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Altus Lodge to anyone visiting Silverton.
