Alpine Lodge

Location is the only good thing about this place. The beds are so bad. And the pillows like pancakes. We had to go to weed to buy new pillows bc the owner only had one extra and it was just as bad. Mount Shasta was amazing. Should’ve stayed somewhere else though because my back is killing me!!! Lol

Some friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway to Mount Shasta. The rooms were clean, smoke-free, and super cute! The decorations inside were such a nice touch. There was a lot of natural light coming in, and there's a small sitting area outside on the second floor. The bathrooms were clean, and the shower had hot water. One room has an A/C that cools the entire place, and the other has a wall heater (we didn't use because we went in the early summer). Across the street is a cute coffee shop we recommend: the Seven Suns. We walked a few minutes to the downtown area, and we were about a half hour drive from Mount Shasta mountain. The locals are extremely nice. I would definitely return here!

Lots to unpack here. So I'm going to Pro and Con it. Pro: Right next to lots of food options and lake sis. Pro: The lady that checked us in was super nice and welcoming. Pro: The AC worked great. Pro: Fridge in the Room and TV worked. Con: I'm a bigger guy. The mattress was terrible.. Loud, collapsed. Honestly one of the worst night sleeps I have ever had at a hotel. Con: The decor is WAY out dated and both the rooms and exterior need a major face lift. Con: Seeing the moldy green pool half full with a dead mouse floating in it as you walk in to the office definitely sets the wrong tone. Cover it. Fill it, or fix it. It reminded me of something out of Kermit the frog swamp... And not in a good way. Con: The Room doesn't feel very clean and it doesn't help that my sheets had liter

Very welcomed and taken care of by this family owned business. Very clean, was able to leave our trailer to make exploring much nicer and easy. Very close to everything. The lounge aera was perfect to watch the sky and just sit and visit outdoors. Thank you it was fabulously wonderful.
