Strawberry Valley Inn

Strawberry Valley Inn is a gem located halfway between SF and Portland. Amazing place with a Forrest lodge feel. Rooms are nice, fresh and clean. Very quiet rooms with a half split in the wall…which is much quieter than your typical hotel heater/AC. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. The fresh waffles are delicious! Fresh coffee, fruit and juices plus boiled eggs. Definitely recommend and the price is amazing! Best to book on the Strawberry Valley Inn site

Mostly clean room, however, tops of the windows were filthy. Unfortunately, there were a lot of fruit flies or such in the 2 bath windows. I should have taken photos in the pm when they were flying but the photos show some dead ones. We pulled the shade and that seemed to contain them. Cobweb on ceiling over the tub. Nice, firmer bed and a variety of pillows. The right foot post of the bed was loose but it all seemed sturdy anyway. Good heat or cooling split. Unfortunately, there were a lot of fruit flies or such in the bath window next to the sink. We reserved a two queen room but could not park near it with our small U-Haul trailer and car. Switched rooms to the 1st room—a king suite and the hostess added $50 although when making the res on 5/29/25 it was the same price as the other roo

Sweet spot with vintage vibes, great pricing, very comfortable bed and spacious room. Complimentary glass of wine in the evening and a generous waffle breakfast. Sweet garden. Walkable to downtown. The staff was so kind with great recommendations on hikes, restaurant's and special local spots. We'll be back for sure.

Wonderful place to stay! I travel a lot for work and stay in a lot of hotels (Hilton and Marriott) this was the cleanest place I have stayed in a long time. Lesley and Tiffany were amazing! Breakfast was delicious blueberry waffles, fruit and eggs. This was our second time in Mount Shasta and we will stay here when we visit again.
