Basecamp Lodge

Our stay at the camp was beyond wonderful. The magic of waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount Shasta made our trip truly unforgettable. What touched us the most was the care and thoughtfulness in every detail, from the subtle, beautiful décor to the fully equipped kitchen that allowed us to prepare lighter, healthier meals. Simple gestures, like having soap by the sink, coffee and a filter ready for the next morning, showed such kindness and attention. We felt cared for in every way. The cleanliness and service were excellent, exactly as other reviews mention. My friends and I are deeply grateful to the entire team for creating such a special and welcoming space.

We had a lovely stay. We have stayed at Basecamp Lodge twice when we come ski and we will keep staying here as long as it is available. Very nice apartments with kitchen and all necessities for a comfortable stay for good price. We noticed this time that apartment 8 downstairs heater didn't work; however, we made fires in the fireplace that kept us warm, another observation is that the place might be due for a deep cleaning. The bed is supper comfortable and sheets are clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. We enjoyed the place a lot.

I shared cabin 2 with 3 other women during a retreat Oct 31-11/6. We were with a larger group where the rest were staying downtown. I'm so happy we decided to stay at Basecamp Lodge! I am a frequent renter and was amazed and grateful for how clean it was! The fireplace was used daily as we unwinded from the day. I loved the Lodge feel with the modern touches and the kitchen and house was abundantly filled with extra toiletries. We greatly appreciated the location to the laundry room! The courtyard is beautiful and I spent a lot of time walking the grounds. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and it was quiet. We loved staying at Basecamp Lodge and will always try to get a cabin there when we come to Shasta. It was perfect to be able to view the mountain whenever it was out - right form our cabin! We had everything we needed and were very comfortable.

My uncle and I spent two nights at this beautiful place and loved it. Our cabin was upstairs with a nice balcony connected to one of the bedrooms. Basecamp Lodge is in a perfect location — close to downtown and right on the way to Mount Shasta. Check-in was super easy with a lockbox code and clear instructions. Each room had its own heater and cooler, so the temperature was always comfortable. Parking is right next to the building, and you can see your car from the balcony. The cabin had a cozy living room with a sofa bed, two leather armchairs, a TV, dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. Free Wi-Fi worked well. There’s one bathroom with a shower; just note there’s no vent, so the mirror fogs up for a few minutes after a shower. We didn’t use the laundry room or BBQ area, but over
