We travelled to Hawaii for our wedding with a large group of family and friends and we were really impressed with the fantastic facilities and services at Alohilani. We had the Diamond Head view room and it was such a beautiful view to wake up to everyday. The hotel also upgraded us to the longboard club which provided a great buffet breakfast and really great service. The location is outstanding and the facilities throughout the hotel are top tier. The fitness centre is one of the best ive ever seen in a hotel and the added benefit of fitness classes every day was a great perk and fun for our large group. The hotel bar and pool is also really beautiful and our guests had great feedback on the food served there. I have travelled to Hawaii multiple times and I would absolutely stay at Alo

I recently stayed at Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The location is unbeatable — right across from Waikiki Beach, making it incredibly convenient for morning walks and sunset views. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. I especially appreciated the contemporary design and relaxed island vibe throughout the property. The infinity pool area was a highlight — a great spot to unwind after a day out. Service was friendly and professional, and check-in was smooth. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the resort can feel quite busy at peak times, and some amenities require additional fees. Overall, a stylish and well-located resort in Waikiki that offers a great balance of

The woman, Samantha (I believe), that checked us in was not very friendly or helpful. When we arrived I mentioned that we were getting married that week, and while not having the wedding at the resort, we were having the reception at Morimoto’s, hoping she may give us a slight room upgrade- nothing special but just a little bump. Nope. Okay, I understand maybe it’s against policy. I then ask if there’s any way we could potentially use a small room on the day of our wedding for hair and makeup since our room is so small. Without even looking into it, she immediately says “no, we don’t offer that service.” I’m positive that almost all hotels will offer this but I don’t press. The next day, there was a gentleman at the counter so I figured I’d ask someone else- he was very kind and said he wa

Positive: Liked location and queen size beds. We had a nice view of the street and ocean. Extra space in the room size was nice for our family of four adults Negative: Loud street noise

This hotel is NOT a 5 star hotel. The pictures show ocean view rooms, but when you check in they make you pay extra for a crappy partial view room. We had to move rooms after one night because our room kept filling with the stench of the fryers grease from the restaurants located directly below. It was horrible to smell and I almost threw up when I walked back into the room. The next night, our entire floor was woken up at 11pm from a false fire alarm going on and off. It took almost 30 minutes to get it turned off for good and what was most concerning was that when we called the front desk to ask if we should evacuate, since there was no smell of smoke and no other signs of fire, the front desk person just said she didn’t know if there was a fire and couldn’t help us at all. It was never
