Aloft Tempe

Positive: Location and price Negative: Bar opens late and our bathroom needed a facelift.

My experience staying at Aloft was amazing! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The service was amazing and the it was a very comfortable stay. Lorenza and Linda were so helpful in helping throughout the day and nights, always making sure every need was meet. Their smiles and friendly conversations made me feel like I was at home. Also the kitchen staff was very helpful making sure coffee was prepared each morning and also assisted with individual coffee for the groups that was make to perfection for each of us. The managers were very organized and most of all they were happy that we were there. Thanks again Lorenza and Linda (See ya at a Cowboys game next year) .

The hotel itself was amazing and staff was attentive. I am giving it 4 stars because the negatives are out of their control, but things travelers should know. We booked this hotel through a music festival. The email I received from the hotel directly said they were located .2 miles from the event, but it turned out to be a 32 minute walk. Definitely look up the directions yourself before booking if you plan to walk. Also, our room was facing the busy road. All hours of the night you could hear traffic and very loud motorcycles. It kept me awake one night. They did provide ear plugs, which were little help.

Had a tough time booking, as the date was changed just when I put in the info. Great room, however and super nice employees. Since we travel with our pet, it was nice to have a first floor room. As Bonvoy members, this hotel was not on our radar and we were pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely return!

Hotel is in a beautiful area! Starbucks right across the street, woo! Room layout was very modern, comfortable bed, slept very well. Lounge area was neat; pool table, games, etc. Breakfast is not included but you can buy a few sandwiches $8-$12 a piece. Lots of snacks and other items for purchase. Staff wasn't overly friendly but not rude either. Parking is $10 a night per vehicle. Pet friendly!
