Aloft South Bend

We came into town to see a show at the Morris performing arts center. While a little pricier than other options the convenience of parking at the hotel and walking to dinner and the show (both less than 5 minutes away) was well worth it. The hotel lobby was a hangout spot for football viewing at the bar or playing a game of pool. Our rooms were very comfortable with completely water, firm beds, and a separate sink from the toilet/bath area. I was disappointed that the website advertised king rooms with tubs when in fact they are all shower only. However the staff was able to switch us to queen rooms. Unfortunately, our queen room with a tub had a faulty drain, so a bath was impossible. I would have mentioned this to hotel, but we only stayed one night. Despite this, we would definitely st

If i could give zero stars i would! The room temperature gave trouble my entire stay, cold at night hot during the day, front desk on March 1 at 2pm said she would send someone and they never came. The tv did not work so i signed into my Netflix and then that stopped working shortly after, then there was no microwave in the room. What an awful hotel stay. I will leave a review to inflight bc i am airline crew. Unacceptable.

We rented their ballroom to celebrate my friend’s daughter’s Sweet 16. Everything was perfect - from the planning to the day of. We also stayed the night in two of their suites. My only beef was that their indoor pool was not heated. And it was freezing outside. I am not sure when they would not heat an indoor pool during this season. Why even bother having an indoor pool if guests cannot use it?

Travelers arriving at a hotel should be greated as guests, not as inconveniences. You need to hire a cleaning staff, or fire the one you have because they aren’t doing their jobs. The hotel beyond the lobby was a dump. Your elevators and halls hadn’t been cleaned in much longer than a few hours or weeks. Thanks for the extra towels I requested when I checked in over an hour prior to my arrival on my app. I wish they had been clean, dry, and not heaped on the floor in the corner. It’s been a long fall from the lofty heights of Marriotts commitment to clean.. you should really do something about that. People very friendly, love that room is cleaned every day (so rare today!). Only issue was that even with the thermostat set at 76 it still felt chilled in the room. Not cold, but never warm / cozy. It was obviously very cold outside but it just felt like heat wasn’t keeping up.
