We were staying for 5 nights and the room rate was over $500 a night. The first night when we arrived, there was no shower gel and the phone when I went to pick it up to call was full of dust bunnies. I told reception the next day and they said they would do a deep clean and replace the shower gel. The next day, still no shower gel! And there is a baby cockroach in the room. When I told the receptionist she assumed I was another room and mentioned she was already aware of the cockroach issue! I told her it must've been another room as I hadn't called. She said they can do a "deep" clean and I told her we'd already had a deep clean the day before and I wanted to be moved. When we returned there was a man at the desk who said the cockroach must've come in with the guests! Funny when other gu

This is a very basic hotel with minimal amenities. It’s a place to lay your head at night and that is all. ||I checked in on the Marriott app and when I arrived at the hotel, had to wait another hour for a room to be available. ||The room was in a high floor, but facing the street and there was a lot of noise from outside. The room itself was basic, but very cheap. The paint on the walls was sloppy. The shower door was badly installed and water covered the bathroom floor whenever it was used. Minimal storage for clothing. No seating other than the bed. ||The bed itself was comfortable enough. However, the bed linens were threadbare and badly stained. ||One night during my 3 night stay the fire alarm started going off at 11:30pm. Hotel staff came over the intercom to say it was a false alar

An amazing stay in a great location! Perfect for a girls trip to NYC and we felt very safe. The staff were so kind and accommodating with our luggage storage and we felt like it was a home away from home. The room was also clean and had everything you could ever need with a nice city view and just 2-5 min walk from the metro. Also I’m waking distance to some yummy food and coffee spots! Will definitely be booking here again if I ever come back to the city!

I had a reservation at Aloft Brooklyn, but unfortunately I was unable to arrive because my flight was cancelled by the airline. Despite this being a case of force majeure and completely beyond my control, I was immediately marked as a no-show without any form of consultation.|The full amount was charged, and the hotel showed absolutely no understanding or goodwill whatsoever. There was no willingness to think along, no alternative offered, and no compensation of any kind.|This way of treating guests feels extremely unreasonable and purely focused on collecting money, regardless of the circumstances. It has completely destroyed my trust in this hotel. I therefore cannot recommend this hotel at all, especially if you are dealing with unexpected travel issues. So consider this a warning: do n

The best part about this place is the location. I travel often for work and I will be going to NYC on a frequent basis however this might be the first and last time I stay at this hotel. I immediately noticed the cleanliness of the elevators which made me nervous for the room. The room was ok, normal size for a city. I wasn’t that confident that it was thoroughly sanitized so I did it myself. A couple lint/hairs on the bed but honestly I was so tired I just brushed it off. The bed was very comfortable. The room seemed a bit run down and lacking attention to detail. I appreciate that there was a fridge but it was in the bathroom… which is kind of weird. No microwave so I ate my dinner cold. No ice machine that I could find or bag in the bucket. I had two questions for the ladies at the desk
