Fantastic stay at Aloft Downtown Milwaukee. The location is perfect, and the service and hospitality were outstanding from start to finish. Special shout-out to Madison on the evening shift — who went above and beyond and truly made us feel welcome. What really sets this hotel apart is how dog-friendly it is. Plenty of grassy areas for pet relief, treats everywhere, and even tennis balls — they genuinely cater to dogs in such a thoughtful way. The newly renovated hallways also look fresh and modern. Would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel is up to Aloft standards. The location was accessible to restaurants close enough to take a stroll. Take a breather and check out the river! I especially liked that I didn't have to request a white noise machine. I absolutely loved Mattie! Mattie provided wonderful service and recommended some good restaurants. Mattie also makes a killer old fashioned! ✝️

Our room had no heat. The heater face was laying on the ground when we got into the room. Luckily we were able to put it on and it did blow air, just only cold air. Not ideal for Wisconsin in the winter. When we told staff about it, they said oh thanks for letting us know. Not how can they help fix it. We were there for a concert, so hotel was all booked. Except, I made this reservation 3 months ahead. It would have been nice to be offered a solution. There was also no basic amenities, like washcloths and towels. The beds were not even attached to the wall, so if you leaned against the headboard, it slid down. I try to be understanding, and when staff says they are under construction, but it was probably the shittiest hotel I've stayed in for a ridiculous price. I would not recommend.

We stayed here because it was so close to the Fiserv Forum but I didn't know there was only vallet parking at $40 a day. Room itself, 1 king standard room, was clean and nice, lots of outlets, none updated with USB ports. There were no washcloths and shower was horrible. Zero preasure.
