Aloft Cleveland Downtown

High praise for the next level hospitality I received. It started with emails prior to my stay which provided important information regarding parking and directions to Aloft. Each person from valet guys, front desk staff and additional support staff along with the manager, Romin. Additionally, the shuttle service offered is a huge benefit!

This was a great hotel overall. We stayed for a wedding and turned the trip into a short vacation. The rooms were modern and spacious, though the bathroom door could use improvement—it was difficult to close securely and kept opening. We were also unable to stream from our phones to the TV. Aside from those issues, we appreciated the amenities. The bar was an excellent place to relax and play pool, and the valet service was quick and courteous. Parking is not free, which was unexpected. We recommend using the valet, as it allows unlimited in-and-out access, unlike the self-parking option.

Overall fine but definitely not as fancy as it makes itself out to be in the ads. Rooms are cramped and the elevator situation is weird. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the location is awesome. If you have a reason to be in The Flats specifically then you should consider this place.

Positive: Friendly staff helped me get ice from the kitchen for my water bottle at departure. Liked that the hotel walking distance to restaurants - in one direction it's a steep uphill walk but we managed it :) Negative: Could not find the ice machine... but learned on our way out that it's at the -13 on each floor. 213, 313, etc

I came in for a Funeral and I have never been to Cleveland OH before so I felt a little out of place . When I arrived The Valet Attendant was Extremely Nice and directed My Mom and I upstairs. When Checking in Ms Christy she was the MOST pleasurable person to Greet us. Of course there was a snag in booking my reservation but She went above and Beyond to find the problem. She made sure that My reservation was found. Her presence was supper calming and super down to earth. The next day she was still being her nice self. I will say I never write reviews but she Definitely goes above and beyond with Great Customer Service!!! Keep Shining Christy!!!
