ACP Hotel Houston Westchase, MOD Collection by Sonesta

Positive: Close to the highway- but no th big else. Negative: Gross! Hotel is very run down. Gross smell and very outdated rooms. Weird stains on the wall, etc. Came with my son for a weekend trip to Houston and was VERY uncomfortable there. I expected more from this brand of hotels. Pool was dirty too.

I specifically booked the room I did for the jacuzzi tub. In the pictures shown online, the tubs are large, round, fancy looking tubs. When I got to the room, it was a standard size jetted tub, which only maybe 2 jets actually worked. I made the front desk attendant aware of the issue and that we were excited about the booking only to be disappointed in the end. The attendant didnt really seem to care nor offer any kind of apology or voucher or anything. There was also a large wet/mildew spot on the ceiling in the room. It was also EXTREMELY apparent that the hotel cuts cost at every corner. They only offer housekeeping if you request it, they do not include the soap/shampoo samples but instead, they have the soaps and such secured to the shower walls and counter top which I find unsafe b

We booked the room thru priceline. Priceline was showing it as a 5 star hotel. Be it as it may, it has little to be desired, the staff are not friendly, when we first checked in the first lady took my husbands card and license, and the second lady grabbed it and said she would check him in. It was rude and disrespectful, plus when going over stuff my husband asked for room upgrade which we were willing to pay for due to the type of room(tube with jetter). Which is on their website. The second lady shoved it off and said we dont have those. And finished the check in and out loud said our room number. Then never said anything about the fact that that breakfast wasn't included or that you needed this "so called ticket". Overall the staff are rude. The rooms are out dated. And its in a bad loc

I stayed at the hotel October 8-10. It was sparsely occupied during my stay. The positives: Good location, fairly clean, great breakfast (not a lot of variety, but they do the basics well -- it's hot and fresh). Pool was clean. Business center was well stocked. The negatives: No hot water. I let it run over 30 minutes hoping it would warm up, but it never did. The desk clerk didn't seem to care when I reported it. The basin of the sink in my bathroom had a big crack. The room was dark, even with all the lights on. The mattress was too soft for my tastes. Furnishings were dated.

Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. Around 10:00 PM, we found out that there was no hot water in our room. When we reported it to the front desk, the staff didn’t take it seriously and gave us no real solution — they didn’t offer to move us to another room or provide any immediate fix. Instead, they just made excuses and said there was nothing they could do until the next day. Later that night, when I tried to take a shower, the water temperature kept changing, sometimes becoming completely cold. It was very uncomfortable. The next morning, a staff member called and offered to upgrade our room, but at that point, it didn’t really matter — what we wanted was a refund or a discount, not a different room type.They literally refused our request for compensation, which means t
