Ace Hotel Brooklyn

This isn't usually the vibe hotel I stay but it was close to where I needed to be. The friendliness of the staff was impressionable, they're chill and want guests to be comfortable and enjoy the stay. The lobby has a lot of people milling around but it's dark so you just kinda scuttle to the elevators and leave it all behind when arriving on the quiet guest floors. Reading reviews helped, such as nothing in the mini-bar is free, including tea and water. There is a water fill station in the hallway. Also there's music events on the weekends which some previous guests mentioned may be disruptive in the guest rooms, so I was able to request a higher floor. What an amazing hotel. From check in to check out, service was great. Room was really nice, amenities were good as well. My only critique is that I wish the pillows were memory foam. They got flat really quick. There was a cute coffee shop, a bar, a Japanese restaurant and a cute diner all at the bottom of the hotel too. Super close to a subway station. I would 100% recommend.

We loved our stay at Ace . The beds are super comfortable, the room had a spectacular view, all the way to Statue of Liberty & Verazanno Bridge and the (great) location is an easy single subway ride from Penn Station. The lobby is a high energy clubby space at night with DJs. Careful before you consume any of the ample supply of room snacks/beverages though, because they’ll cost you. (And this being such a great convenient location, it’s better to go to the very local bodegas.) A couple dings to the star rating were the shower head(sputtery) and the bedside lamp(broken).

Great location for access to downtown Brooklyn. Easy to get to transportation. This hotel has dining options. Staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms are large for the NY area and decor is unique. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. I would stay here again.

Wonderful hotel! Perfect location as easily accessible to the subway (literally 2 minute walk). Very comfortable and stylish rooms. Great shampoo/conditioner/ body wash! Very glad we chose to stay at the Ace Hotel! Thank you.
